Sheri-Lynn Banera

INSTRUCTOR

Sheri is so excited to be joining the Kickit Island Lakes team. Sheri started her training as a competitive gymnast at the national level, but always had a love for dance. During her gymnastics career she continued to take classes in all disciplines of dance. After retiring from gymnastics, she took dance full time. Sheri started training and taking exams in the ADAPT syllabus and later training with Ken Peter’s Tap syllabus. This led her to a fulfilling teaching career. Her love and passion for dance grows on a daily basis.

Sheri has taught Tap, Jazz, and Ballet to all ages with Ken Peter Dance Express that has spanned 25 years. In 2015, she received her certification with the Acrobatic Arts program which brought her love of dance and gymnastics together. Sheri prides herself on building strong relationships with her students and developing cohesive teams. Her goal is to motivate her students so they learn, develop and excel at both dance and in life. Sheri is thrilled to have the opportunity to continue her dance journey with all the students and instructors at Kickit.
