Shalynn Johnson

INSTRUCTOR

Shalynn’s dance journey began at the age of 3 years old when she took her very first jazz class. She instantly loved it and not long after that she was starting in the competitive program. Shalynn has trained extensively in various styles including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip hop, ballet, and pointe. She has danced in many competitions such as CNDC, View Dance Challenge, Dance Canada, Terpsichore, and many more, and has attended conventions such as Jump, Triple Threat and a week long convention for Dance Canada in Toronto. She has done years of training in ISTD Imperial Ballet and has also completed multiple grades in ISTD ballet and pointe examinations. Shalynn has been an assistant for many years and has always loved learning from other teachers and having the chance to share her passion with all levels and ages of dancers. As a teacher she strives to inspire her students with the same love and passion for dance that has shaped her life. Shalynn is so excited to be back in the studio and dancing with her students.
