Pili, as he’s known in the performing arts and dance community, has been part of the Kickit family from the very beginning, unofficially since the studio’s early days and officially since 2010. He proudly serves as General Manager and is committed to supporting both the artistic and organizational growth of the studio.
Pili’s dance journey has taken him across North America to train in cities such as Toronto, Minneapolis, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and even Sydney, Australia. His professional stage credits include 42nd Street, A Chorus Line, Fame: The Musical, West Side Story, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2003 & 2010), The King and I, Miss Saigon, and The Wizard of Oz (Rainbow Stage), as well as My Fair Lady (RMTC). In film and television, he has appeared in Shall We Dance (Miramax), One Last Dance (Without Word, Inc.), 2030 C.E. (YTV), and The Adventures of Shirley Holmes (YTV).
He has performed in opening acts for Sean Paul and the Jabbawockeez, danced for Grammy-nominated Hip Hop artist Fresh I.E., and served as a backup dancer for Filipino pop stars Martin Nievera and Vina Morales. Pili also represented Canada as a member of the National Hip Hop Team at the World Hip Hop Championships in Bremen, Germany.
Above all, Pili is proud to call Kickit home and is grateful for the opportunity to continue sharing his passion, leadership, and experience with the Kickit dancers and faculty.
