Michael Trojan

INSTRUCTOR

Michael has been dancing for 15 years, starting at the age of 5. Beginning with Hip Hop, he discovered his passion for dance and quickly began to train in more disciplines including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary and Musical Theatre. He has been recognized with many awards at competitions such as The View, 5678, Canadian National Dance Championships, Dance Canada, Thunderstruck and MOVE. He has also attended many conventions and intensives, receiving praise and scholarships at many such as Triple Threat Dance Convention, JUMP, The Pulse, To The Pointe and most notably, attending Radix Nationals in Las Vegas where he placed 3rd in the Junior division. He also had the opportunity to perform in Disney Springs in 2019 and take classes from choreographers for the shows in Disney. After taking classes with some of the most talented teachers and choreographers across Canada and the United States, such as Brian Freidman, Tyce Diorio, NappyTaps, Tessandra Chavez, Anthony Morigerato and so many more, he has learned many different styles and lessons. He is eager to share all his knowledge and skills with his students, and is honored to be a part of the Kickit Dance Studio team.
